The Iberian Vacuum Conference, RIVA is a join meeting of the Spanish Vacuum Society (ASEVA) and the Portuguese Vacuum Society (SOPORVAC), and follows the series started in Braga, Portugal, in 1988, changing alternative the location between Portugal and Spain. The fields covered on this conference are related to vacuum and its applications, particularly on the fields of Fundamental and Applied Surface Science, Thin Films, Electronics Materials and Processing, Plasma physics, Vacuum Science and Technology and Nanometer Scale processes.
The main aim of the Conference is to provide a forum where the most relevant and recent results are discussed. We invite scientists and engineers of Spain and Portugal, as well as those from other countries, to take part in this event, especially junior ones. Detailed information here.

The eighth international conference on Innovations in Thin Film Processing and Characterization (ITFPC’17) will be held in Nancy (France) on October 23-27, 2017. This biennial conference is organized by the Société Française du Vide (SFV) and the Institut Jean Lamour (IJL).
The 33rd European Conference on Surface Science (ECOSS-33) will be organized in Hungary, Szeged (27 Aug-1 Sep. 2017). ECOSS is a traditional annual meeting directed jointly by the Surface Science Division of the International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications (IUVSTA) and the Surface and Interface Section of the European Physical Society (EPS).
The 6th CCM International Conference on Pressure and Vacuum Metrology in conjunction with the 5th International Conference IMEKO TC16 will take place from May 8-10, 2017 in Pereira, Colombia.
The CCM International Conference on Pressure and Vacuum Metrology is the world’s leading conference on measurement related issues in the pressure and vacuum field. It is to review research and developing work on highest quality primary standards and the dissemination of traceability to the most exacting and demanding users in the range from 10 ^-9 Pa to 10 ^10 Pa.
The International Conference IMEKO TC16 on pressure measurement focuses on the more practical aspects of pressure and vacuum measurement mainly for industrial sectors like process and semiconductor industry, photovoltaic, coating, metallurgy, packaging, pharmaceutical and others but also for research applications.
